Details links with Kate Aspen favors

I am pleased to announce that Details has linked with Kate Aspen Shops to sell favors under the same name. Brides can now link from the new Details website (coming soon!) to purchase their wedding and baby shower favors. What I really love about these favors is that many of them are available in customizable "Personality" boxes to match your wedding colors. From candles to wine stoppers to cute frames Kate Aspen Shops has large variety of favors for all themes. Joyce and David - October 6, 2007

October was an extremely busy month for Details - a total of 5 weddings. Below I posted 4 of them and almost forgot about Joyce and David. Kendall Moore was the DOC for this wedding. The couple was married at Grassy Hill Lodge in Derby, CT. Kendall and I both met Joyce at the inital consultation and sat with her for over 2 hours. We talked with her like she was an old friend - what a sweet woman! I wish her and David a lifetime of happiness. Here are just a few photos from her amazing wedding.

A Recap of 2007

This past year was quite busy for me and the Details team. We planned and/or coordinated a total of 25 weddings. A New Addition to the Details Team

I am happy to announce the addition of Caryn Vale to the Details Team. Caryn has assisted me with weddings this past year and has definitely earned her stripes. She will continue to assist me and the other planners - Kristy Klein-Hughes and Kendall Moore as well as take on her own weddings. I'm so thrilled to have her as part of my team.

A Holiday Wedding - Kerry & Justin

Well, 2007 ended with quite the event. Kerry and Justin were married at Christ Church Cathedral in Hartford on December 15th with the attendance of 200 close friends and family. Their amazing reception immediately followed at The Bond Ballroom. The room was decorated with reds and golds and included uplighting in both colors and forest facade projected on the ceiling provided by East Coast Lighting & Production. Custom candle centerpieces, poinsettias and Christmas trees gave the room a warm feeling of Christmas. Each guest's placesetting included a red gift box of holiday candy. Kerry and Justin's bridal party surprised them with a heartfelt video presentation which included family interviews and photos of the happy couple. John "Cadillac" Saville provided the entertainment and kept the dance floor packed throughout the night. As each guest said their good byes homemade Christmas cookies were waiting for them as they exited the party.

Placecards were attached to candycanes and tied with red and gold ribbon.
